“I enjoyed the PEERS classroom setting because it helped me get into the mindset that it is a learning opportunity. There were opportunities to move and to practice. It was helpful to interact with others, compare notes and share experiences, because that is how I learn. The homework was not bad because we were surrounded by people who get that it can be hard to be out of your comfort zone, and it was a chance to take skills outside of the class to practice. PEERS helped my life in more ways than one and continues to help it. I recommend others to check it out, you will use the skills and not even know it.”
