After unloading and storing sacks of food that had been donated by a community member, we were grateful to spend the afternoon getting reacquainted with the kids and staff. Whether on the playground, the football field (soccer, as we call it at home), the new ping pong room, or playing boardgames outside the dining hall-a fabulous day was had by all!
A visit to the home wouldn’t be the same without our annual volleyball tournament (yes, Ethandweni won again!), climb up the mountain and dance party celebrations. This year, we were invited to add our individual handprints to the wall in the dining hall and in the spirit of our 10th anniversary, we feel as though we are a part of the Ethandweni family!
