2-Day Person Centered Thinking Training in Minnesota

Person Centered Thinking (PCT®) focuses on empowering people to have positive control in their lives. PCT approaches respectfully address issues of health and safety from a variety of perspectives. The use of PCT skills helps us get to know people, discover how to respectively support them, and keep learning as we act upon what we hear. PCT Training is designed for employees at all levels, especially those in supervisory roles, as well as people receiving services and their family members.

The 2-day interactive training will focus on:

  • Learning to balance what is important TO a person and what is important FOR a person
  • Practicing PCT Discovery Skills that help us better understand a good balance for the person and how to best support them
  • Introducing PCT Everyday Learning Skills to capture ongoing learning and support the person to create a life they envision.

This two-and-a-half-hour interactive training session is for people responsible for the development of meaningful outcomes within the framework of person centered thinking and planning. Throughout this transformational training, our skilled trainers constantly focus on hopes and dreams while asking, "What more is possible?" This training will focus on Personal Outcomes, Rules and Regulations, Supports vs. Outcomes, Exploring Desired Outcomes, and Goal Planning.

Person Centered Facilitation "Picture of a Life" in Minnesota

Person Centered Plan Facilitation is a 2-day training, focused on learning and applying Person-Centered Thinking and Planning tools. During this training you will actively engage in planning with a person. You’ll use Person Centered Thinking skills and graphic facilitation to help discover and capture the life a person wants to live. At the end of the training, we will have built a “Picture of a Life” with all the elements of the person’s desired future.
