Traditional Supports
- Behavior Analysis Services: Mains'l Services, Inc. has a team of Board Certified Associate Behavior Analysts (BCABAs) who offer behavior analysis services. These services are overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Behavior analysis services are integrated with any other services that Mains'l Services, Inc. offers and consist of the following: conducting functional assessments, developing behavioral support plans, staff training in behavior principles and on behavior program implementation, monitoring of behavior program implementation, analysis of data, and updating or revising behavioral support plans as necessary. The goal of these services is to produce a socially significant improvement in problem behaviors for the individual consumer.
- Intensive Behavioral Residential Habilitation: Mains'l Services, Inc. provides intensive behavioral residential habilitation in small group home settings throughout Miami-Dade. These services are available for consumers who exhibit intensive behaviors that create life threatening situations, result in injury or the need for medical care, create high dollar damage to property, or require visual supervision during all waking hours. These services are fully integrated with behavior analysis services.
- Behavior Focused Residential Habilitation: Provided in small group home settings throughout Miami-Dade, supports are available to consumers who exhibit less intensive behaviors than those addressed through intensive behavior residential habilitation. These consumers typically display behaviors that have the potential to cause injury or create situations that would harm the individual's health or safety. These services are available to incoming consumers, and to former recipients of Intensive Behavioral services that have demonstrated behavioral progress. These services are also integrated with behavior analysis services.
- Non-Residential Support Services are provided to consumers in non residential settings. The purpose of these services and training is to provide access to age appropriate, community based activities. These services are also integrated with behavior analysis services, as necessary, to meet the individual needs of the consumer.
- Transportation services consist of transportation to and from other habilitation sites, for example Adult Day Training Programs.
- Supported Employment services are meant to provide training to consumers that is designed to assist the individual in obtaining and maintaining employment in the community. These services are provided in a variety of settings, including work sites.
- Supported Living Coaching provides training and support to consumers residing in their own homes or apartments. These services cover a wide variety of training activities, including assistance in locating housing, and training on skills related to daily living (ex. personal hygiene, meal preparation, money skills, shopping, etc.).
- In-Home Supports are available to consumers living in a supported living environment, who would benefit from staff assistance and supervision, in addition to supported living coaching. These services are available from four to twenty-four hours of service per day. The in home support workers provide companionship, personal care, and may assist with activities of daily living.
Supports offered in Florida by Mains'l Services, Inc. are funded through the following:
- Developmental Disabilities Home and Community Based Medicaid Waiver
- Developmental Disabilities Family and Supported Living Waiver
- Department of Children & Families Enhanced Board Rate, Mental Health Placement, and/or One-to-One Service
