Background Study
All employees of Mains’l are required to pass a background study through the Department of Human Services (DHS).

The majority of positions at Mains’l require that a person be able to drive for work. Therefore, many positions require individuals to have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a driving record check.

Many of Mains’l programs are licensed through the Department of Human Services (DHS). Therefore, our employees are required to complete a certain amount and type of training soon after hire. .

Why Choose Mains'l:

I have noticed a trend over the past couple of weeks while conducting interviews. When I ask applicants why they are applying at Mains’l, an increasing, and somewhat surprising number have had the exact same answer: “I want to work at a company that actually puts that consumer first.”

In the past couple of days, I’ve had interviews with two different individuals, working in supervisory roles at two different human service companies in the Twin Cities tell me that the company they are currently working  for is becoming “top-heavy” and is losing focus of the reason why they work in human services. Even from the outside, they see Mains’l as a company that will always put the consumer first, and a company that lives by their mission to “Offer innovative supports to people, responding to their hopes and dreams.”

Mains’l is making a difference in the lives of the people we serve and in members of the community. I hope you find this as encouraging as I have!
